About Us
Counting the cost
Hi! We are Brett and Clari! We are married and living the Best Life Ever in ‘upstate’ New York.
In 2022, we both left our full-time jobs of 13 years in order to pursue a full-time volunteer work connected with our faith. This has been a goal of ours and we are thrilled to be able to do it for as long as we can.
When we started this blog, the goal was to create a place where we could share some of the things we learned that helped us with our finances. We wanted to best utilize our resources of time & money in order to pursue a more balanced life-style, with less of a secular-focus. This post really sums up the name we chose for the site.
If you are also looking to move away from a demanding work life and make more time to have a ‘full share’ in things that are meaningful to you, (while still having fun!) you may find some of our content helpful.
We mainly focus on topics like debt, budgeting, investing, taxes, travel rewards, and pursuing your goals. We share strategies learned from a lot of self-education with trial & error, other finance blogs, books, and podcasts.

Clari was born and raised in Puerto Rico, while Brett was born in Massachusetts, and raised in Florida. We met and got married in Miami, FL. As of 2022, we are New Yorkers!
